Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value and respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect the same in return. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can send us a takedown notice if they believe their rights have been infringed. As an internet service provider, we can claim immunity under the DMCA’s “safe harbor” provisions. To submit an infringement claim, you need to provide specific information.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
- Details about the infringing material and its location for removal.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material.
- A declaration that the information provided is accurate and the complainant is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Section 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties for misrepresentation in an infringement claim under 17 USC §512(c)(3). You can send takedown notices through our Contact page using email for faster processing.
When submitting a claim, you agree that your identity may be shared with the alleged infringer. We will also share information from any copyright infringement claim we receive.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have it restored. Your notification must include specific elements outlined in Section 17 USC §512(g)(3).
- Your signature.
- Details of the removed material and its original location.
- A statement affirming that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of the court.
Submit your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against copyright infringement. We keep a record of DMCA notices and make efforts to identify repeat infringers. Accounts found violating our policy will be terminated.
